Ross Russell, DDS
Dr. Ross Russell earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. His interest in dentistry began during a routine cleaning, when his dental hygienist encouraged him to explore the profession, and he was drawn to the opportunity to build personal relationships with patients, solve problems creatively, and make a meaningful difference in people's health and confidence. He grew up just down the road in Covington, graduating from Covington High School and spending many Friday nights cheering on the Chargers — practicing here feels like coming home, and it means a great deal to serve the same community that helped shape who he is.
Patients describe Dr. Russell as naturally calm, patient, and understanding. He recognizes that everyone comes in with different concerns and circumstances, so his goal is to listen without judgment and create an environment where each patient feels comfortable, respected, and supported. He especially wants patients to know there is no reason to feel ashamed or embarrassed about their oral health — no matter how long it has been since their last visit, deciding to seek care is a positive and important first step toward better health.
First visit went well! I felt so welcomed and they got me in quickly due to my pain. They got a game plan together and I finally feel like I'm going to get some relief from people who actually care about me and not the $$$. It's taken me forever to finally find a dentist willing to help within a timely manner that takes my insurance but it was worth the drive looking forward to my healthy smile journey!
